Who We Are>
Impact Church Durham is a Spirit-led, life-giving church being planted with one mission in mind, to ignite disciples, inspire purpose, and impact lives. We are part of the Impact Church Collective, a growing family of churches committed to building people, strengthening communities, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
We believe Durham is a city of divine opportunity. In prayer and discernment, God has called us to establish a church where the disconnected find belonging, the broken find healing, and the overlooked discover purpose. We are not just building a church — we are building people and shaping a healthier, stronger Durham.
Led by Pastor Jeremiah and Lady Shamyrah Davis, under the spiritual covering of Dr. Aaron and Lady Ashley McNair, Impact Church Durham is being launched with intentionality, excellence, and the heart of heaven.
What is Our Vision>
To Ignite Disciples means we are intentional about discipleship that is alive, active, and Spirit empowered. We seek to move people beyond surface level faith into a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Discipleship at MMCC involves teaching sound doctrine, cultivating spiritual disciplines, and developing believers who live out their faith daily. Igniting disciples creates believers who are grounded in truth, passionate in worship, and committed to spiritual growth and obedience.
To Inspire Purpose means helping individuals discover and embrace the unique calling God has placed on their lives. MMCC believes every person is created with divine intention and assignment. Through preaching, teaching, mentorship, and service opportunities, we help people identify their gifts, clarify their purpose, and confidently walk in their God given identity. When purpose is inspired, believers move from passive participation to intentional engagement in God’s work.
To Impact Lives means our faith must produce visible and meaningful transformation. MMCC is committed to making a difference both within the church and beyond its walls. We measure success not only by what happens in our services, but by changed lives, strengthened families, transformed communities, and the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Who are our leaders>
SENIOR PASTOR & MOVEMENT LEADER
Dr. Aaron McNair II is a visionary leader, dynamic strategist, and respected church culturalist whose influence spans generations and organizations. With a rare blend of pastoral insight, organizational acumen, and cultural intelligence, he leads with both conviction and compassion as pastor of three churches. His ministry is marked by a steadfast commitment to biblical truth, authenticity, and excellence, and he is widely known for guiding churches and leaders through seasons of transition, growth, and cultural realignment while preserving the integrity of the Gospel.
A trusted voice in church health, generational engagement, and leadership sustainability, Dr. McNair is an accomplished speaker, author, mentor, and thought leader whose impact extends through conferences, leadership forums, and community initiatives. His work is anchored in the belief that leaders are called not only to manage people, but to shape culture, steward vision, and build lasting legacy with wisdom, courage, and integrity.
LEAD SITE PASTOR
Pastor Jeremiah Davis is a preacher, intercessor, worship leader, and visionary leader who accepted his call to ministry at the age of sixteen and has remained steadfast in fulfilling the assignment God placed upon his life. He currently serves as Executive Pastor of Mount Moriah Community Church – Raleigh under the leadership of Dr. Aaron B. McNair II and Lady Ashley McNair.
Pastor Davis earned his degree from St. Augustine’s University, where he majored in Sociology with a concentration in Community Development. During his time there, he was actively engaged in leadership and campus ministry, serving in executive leadership and as a praise and worship leader within the Christian Fellowship Organization.
He is the founder of Jeremiah Davis Ministries and Dressed Prophetically, the author of Declare: 21 Days of Positive Affirmation and The Heart of the Second Chair. His passion is to empower leaders to discover their purpose, identity, and voice in service. Through intercession, preaching, and motivational ministry, Pastor Davis remains committed to serving God, serving people, and advancing the Kingdom with excellence.
